Picture Day is Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Be sure to dress your best and bring your best smile to school on Tuesday! If you haven't already send your picture order in!

WE ARE ENGINEERS!!

Your student is learning and practicing to be  an ENGINEER!! One might ask what it an engineer?? An engineer is some who solves real world problems and invents things to make the world a better place!

We have begun our Engineering unit this week--feel free to ask your child about what they have learned this far:)

We will be beginning the design process very soon and building our very own back scratchers. We are in need of supplies. Feel free to donate: paper towel rolls (the cardboard part), plastic forks, rulers, masking tape, or anything else you can think :)

Hello to All! I am so incredibly sorry I am behind on my blog posts...it has been a crazy busy start to the school year! I am so happy to tell you that we have had a fantastic start to our year!! Thank you for being so supportive and ready to help your child learn!

Welcome to First Grade!!

I am so excited you have found our class blog be sure to check back weekly for updated posts. Please be looking for your child's agenda on a daily basis--this will allow you to know on a daily basis how things are going at school. Feel free to write me any notes at the bottom of the monthly calendar. Also blue folders came home with your child's information sheet as well as the district Code of Conduct. Please review those items. You need to return the information sheet--first class with them all returned receives a popcorn party! Help your child earn that party! Also sign the front sheet in the Code of Conduct and return it to school--keep the book for you! Let me know if you have any questions!
